telecommunications software, from link to application layers of the ISO
model.
Good knowledge of various topologies and digital protocols with the
ability to recommend required architecture and undertake limited system
performance analysis.
Good hardware background and extensive experience with
communication systems.
MSEE or MCSS or equivalent.

Windows Design Engineer |

Five
to seven years' experience in the design of Windows NT or 95 based
software systems. Two plus years experience design and implementation
within the Microsoft Visual Studio environment.
Excellent understanding of object oriented analysis, design and
programming.
Fluent in C++ or VB or VJ++ or .NET C# or VB.NET.
MSCS or equivalent.

In general a specialist will
have at least 5 years general engineering software development experience
and will additionally have special knowledge in areas such as fuzzy logic,
advanced protocols, mathematical system modeling, recent advanced CASE
modeling tools etc. MSEE or

Quality Engineer |
|
In general a Senior Quality
Engineer will have at least 5 years software testing management
experience, experience in all testing phases and a thorough understanding
of when to use manual or automatic testing.
Knowledge of C or C++ as well as Tcl/Tk and scripting. Some
familiarity with ISO9000 and/or SEI CMM or equivalent methodology.
Ability to work in all test development phases including
establishment of apposite testing methodologies.

Tester |

A
software tester will have 2 to 5 years’ experience of hands on testing
along with some knowledge of a software language.
The tester will know the difference between black box and white box
testing.
He would be able to write test plans and test procedures and would
be expected to understand the testing approaches to adequately test a
modern software system.
Some knowledge of PERL or Tcl/Tk or auto test software languages.

Designer |

A
hardware designer will have 4+ years’ experience of digital and/or
analog circuit design.
The designer will be familiar with popular schematic design tools
such as OrCAD and will be used to performing hardware debug.
He may or may not have board layout experience but would be
expected to offer advice on layouts.
He may have firmware development experience.

specifications (Strength of Materials). Experienced as a project leader or
principal designer.

Support Technician |

Hands
on experience in building prototype circuits. Able to modify PCBs.
Understands circuit diagrams and can perform initial board test and more
advanced hardware testing.
