Column
Engineering offers a benefit package that includes medical, dental, life,
short term and long-term disability insurance.
As a Column Group employee, you are eligible to participate in the
benefit package on the first day of the month, following a thirty-day
waiting period from your date of hire.
At that time, you have the option to elect coverage based on your
current
employment status (hourly or salaried) with Column.

Benefits

401(k)
Plan
As a Column Engineering employee, you are eligible to participate
in this program on the first of the month following 183 days of
employment.
You may contribute 1% to 15% of your base salary on a
pre-tax basis subject to current IRS limitations.
You have 10 options for investing contributions to the
401(k) Plan.
Long
Service Bonus
Salaried
staff will receive long term service bonuses at every year
completion following 2 years of service.
Overtime
Overtime (time booked over 40 hours per week) is paid at the
normal rate to both salaried, independent and contracted staff. |

Vacation
Vacation for salaried staff is accrued at 10/12 of a day per month (10 days at the
end of 1 year of employment). This accrual is increased 1 day per year to
a maximum of 10 additional days by the end of your tenth year. A portion
of your vacation may be sold back to the Company should you decide not to
use it.
Holidays
There are 9 paid holidays for salaried staff during the calendar year. Six are fixed and
three are floating holidays to accommodate our clients' schedules. The six
fixed holidays are:

Time
Sick leave will be paid to salaried staff up to 40 hours per annum.
Jury/Military
Duty
Column will pay the difference in salary for salaried staff.
Consultant
Bonus
Column
Engineering will pay a semi-annual bonus.
This bonus will be
increased if the consultant works a predefined amount of overtime during
the 6-month period and performs in a satisfactory manner.
Consistent submission of status reports and good quality reviews
will contribute to the bonus amount.
Referral
Program
Whether a Column consultant or not, all
individuals are eligible to participate in our Referral Commission Program
immediately.
The current program provides significant compensation for each consultant
referred who is subsequently hired and who successfully completes at least
a 90-day assignment for us.
Education
For
each hour salaried consultants work for Column Engineering they are allotted one dollar
($1) towards educational materials. Consultants are free to use these
funds towards education materials subject to the Column Engineering
Management approval. Education benefits are effective immediately on the
Consultant’s start date.
Benefits can be carried over 3 months into a new calendar year.
